Motley Rice, one of the nation’s largest plaintiffs’ litigation firms and Injury Board Member, has been named in the U. S. News & World Report Best Law Firms 2010. The annual list showcases law firms in 91 practice areas throughout the United States.

The Best Law Firms rankings are based on both objective data and peer evaluations. Motley Rice was ranked on both a national and metropolitan level for its work in mass tort litigation and class actions and was also selected for its personal injury and commercial litigation work on the metropolitan level.

Motley rice is currently active in cases such as the nationally publicized Composix® Kugel® Mesh hernia repair patch multidistrict litigation being tried in Rhode Island and the burn pit litigation filed by military personnel against defense contractors KBR and Halliburton as well as mesothelioma and BP oil spill lawsuits filed across the country.

The firm’s attorneys have received numerous awards and accolades for their willingness to take on diverse litigation in the fight to protect those harmed by wrongdoing and negligence. In July, Ronald Motley, of Motley Rice received the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award for 2010.

The 2010 Best Law Firm national rankings will be published in the October print issue of U.S. News & World Report and will be posted online at www.usnews.com/bestlawfirms. The rankings are intended to help guide referring lawyers and clients in need of quality legal services.
