They are sold in discount retailer, Wal-Mart for as little as $29.

Now a second recall has been issued on the inexpensive DVD players that can overheat and burst into flames. The brand name is Durabrand.

14 reports of overheating have been reported which caused the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) to, in cooperation with Wal-Mart, issue a recall for 4.2 million of the players.

No injuries have been reported from the players, but in one case, reported to Wal-Mart, the player overheated and caused a fire that damaged property, reports CNN.

This is the second recall of the players. On August 20, 1.5 million of the silver DVD players were recalled. Now the CPSC has expanded the recall to include the pink and purple models as well for a total of 4.2 million.

The Durabrand players are made in China and were sold between January 2006 and July 2009.

Consumers are advised to stop using the players and return them to Wal-Mart for an immediate and full refund.

Wal-Mart is also providing a number at (800) 925-6278 or asks consumers to visit their Web site.

The DVD players were sold under the following UPC codes and model numbers:

Silver: UPC 1799901002, Model No. 1002

Pink: UPC 1799934100, Model No. 1002 PINK

Purple: UPC 1799932100, Model No. 1002 PUR
